The most common degree program for this job is a bachelor's degree in engineering, science, mathematics, computer science, or another related field. However, some employers prefer candidates who have completed an advanced degree (master's degree, Ph.D., etc.) in industrial engineering, operations research, statistics, biostatistics, software engineering, quality management, or similar fields.
In addition to education, some quality assurance/engineering experience is required for this position. Employers look for at least two years of relevant work experience.
