  • World Quality Week (WQW) 2025 – Theme, Ideas and Activities

November has been established as Quality Month, a dedicated time for organizations worldwide to emphasize the significance of quality management. It is a period for recognizing achievements, sharing best practices, and elevating awareness about the essential role of quality in driving business success. Organizations use this opportunity to focus on continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and sustainable growth.

Why November?

The origin of selecting November for Quality Month isn’t definitively documented. Many attribute it to Japan’s quality movement in the 1960s-70s.

Organizations like the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and The Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) celebrate in November:

  • ASQ: World Quality Month (#WQM) spans all of November.
  • CQI: World Quality Week (#WQW) is celebrated in the second week of November, with World Quality Day traditionally observed on the second Thursday of the month.

For 2025, World Quality Week runs from 10 to 14 November, culminating in World Quality Day on 13 November.
