White Belt

Foundational

Yellow Belt

Yellow Belts have a deeper understanding of Six Sigma techniques and can assist Green and Black Belts with data collection and analysis for improvement projects.

Practitioner

Green Belt

Green Belts lead improvement projects within their functional area while maintaining their regular job responsibilities. They apply statistical tools to analyze processes and implement solutions.

Expert

Black Belt

Black Belts are full-time process improvement experts who lead complex projects across multiple functional areas. They have advanced statistical knowledge and mentor Green Belts.

Master

Master Black Belt

Master Black Belts are the highest technical experts in Six Sigma methodology. They train and mentor Black Belts, develop Six Sigma curriculum, and provide strategic guidance on complex projects.

Leadership

Champion

Champions are senior executives who sponsor and drive Six Sigma initiatives throughout the organization. They provide resources, remove barriers, and align projects with business objectives.
