Six Sigma with Relation to Smaller Organisations
by Amarbir Singh - Tuesday, October 20, 2009, 05:06 AM
Does anyone have experiences of implementing Six Sigma in an organisation as small as 100 employees? If so did it work and what were the problems?

Thanks

Six Sigma is can be applied in any organization if management have decided that this is the way to achieve better quality. I have seen Six Sigma implemented in small organization with lesser than 100 employee. The problem may lay in the cost of applying and training required by Six Sigma. Small company my not be able to spend a lots of money on quality control and management training. Its much easier to adopt in a larger organization where the associated cost could be absorbed by the large saving for the organization. Quality equal time saving and better customer relation
